 Richard Marlais, DDS
Dr.
Rick Marlais graduated from Loma Linda University in Riverside, California
in 1970. Upon graduation Dr. Marlais returned to his Bay Area roots in
Northern California to set up his dental practice. He chose an area in the
charming historic Mission San Jose district of Fremont to open the practice
and has been in the same location since.
Dr.
Marlais works very hard at providing the best dental care possible for his
patients. His reputation for doing excellent dental work is well known
within the area. He was voted "Best Dentist" twice by the readers of the
Fremont Argus newspaper.
Dr. Marlais is a member of the California Dental Association and a past
president of the Southern Alameda County Dental Association. In an
effort to provide the best dental care for his patients, Dr.
Marlais continues to attend seminars and classes on the latest advances in
the dental field.
Dr. Marlais is also an active member of the Mission San Jose community,

Accomplishments

Special Honor instated into the Pierre Fauchard Academy. This honor is
only presented to dentists who have made outstanding contributions to the
field of dentistry.

In an
attempt to create a more perfect crown, I began studying Dental Laboratory
Technique in 1985. Since then I have been fabricating my own gold and
porcelain crowns.

 Vanessa
Strahan, RDH
Vanessa joined our
team in June of 2006. She grew up in southern Oregon and received her
Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. She spent the
last couple of years in Tahoe and has now settled down in Fremont. Vanessa
is great with patients. She loves smiling and meeting new people. |

 Robin Fogg, DA
Robin joined our team in July of 2006. She was
born and raised in Fremont. She started in the dental field when she was 17. Her
long-term goal is to be an orthodontist. She is a country girl at heart, who
loves the outdoors, but has found a passion in dentistry. Robin loves to laugh
(in her words a little too much), and she has added country music to our office. |

 Maria
Martinez, Front Desk
Maria is
our receptionist. She is very capable and very attentive
to patient's needs. You will enjoy working with Maria.

 Melissa
Guzman,
Front Desk
Melissa is originally from New Jersey, but has
lived primarily in the Bay Area since she was 11 (although she still has a
passion for East Coast Pizza). She job shares with Maria and has been with
us since March of 2006. |

 Alvin
Cenabre, DDS
Alvin started with us in July of 2006 as a dental assistant before he took the
last of his state dental boards. He has since taken them and passed and will be
off to dentistry in the very near future. We will miss his calm gentle nature.
